Keepsake gifts under $25
A keepsake does not have to be expensive to be meaningful. What makes something a keepsake is that it was chosen with someone in mind and that they keep it near them. This guide is about small gifts that do exactly that, without going over $25.
Updated 2026-10-17 · Every case $24.99 · free US shipping · free 30-day returns
The simple maths
Every Pawprint Archive case is $24.99, and shipping is free within the US, so the total stays under $25. There are no add-ons. Returns are free for 30 days, which helps when you are not completely sure about their phone.
What makes a small gift feel considered
- It is chosen for them, not for anyone. An animal that reminds you of their pet, or one they love, says more than a generic print.
- It is something they will use. A keepsake they carry every day is remembered in a way that a drawer item is not.
- It comes with a few words. A short, honest note turns a purchase into a gift.
Gentle picks for someone missing a pet
These are our quietest portraits: a soft watercolour cat, a bright-eyed corgi, a calm snowy owl and a pale blue butterfly. They are illustrated animals, not custom portraits of a particular pet.
Cheerful picks for a pet lover
For a happier occasion — a birthday, a new puppy, a secret Santa with an animal lover — go a little brighter: a sloth hanging under an orange sun, a red panda on a tangerine background, an otter floating on mint water.
Adding the words
We do not put notes in the package, but you can make a free keepsake card: pick the design, write a few lines, and text, email or print it. If the gift is for someone grieving, keep the message short and use their pet’s name.
Timing for the holidays
Orders ship within 48 business hours and delivery after that depends on the carrier. For the winter holidays, we recommend ordering by Dec 14 for the best chance of US delivery by Dec 25. If you are late, a printed keepsake card makes a good placeholder on the day.
Small extras that cost little
Wrapping it simply
A small gift deserves a little care in how it is handed over. Brown paper and twine, a sprig of rosemary or a pressed leaf tucked under the string, and a printed keepsake card as the tag cost almost nothing and make the moment feel considered. If the case is going straight to them, send the keepsake card link on the day it is due to arrive, so they have your words and the gift together.
Group gifts
If a few friends or colleagues want to send something together, a case is easy to share: one person orders, everyone signs the keepsake card, and the cost per person is tiny. For a workplace sympathy gift, keep the message simple and let one person who knows them well choose the design.
- A printed photo of their pet in a simple frame you already own.
- A handwritten memory: one specific moment you remember about their animal.
- A packet of forget-me-not or wildflower seeds to plant in the garden.
Not sure of their phone? A digital gift card lets them choose. More ideas are on the gifts page, or try the gift finder.
A gentle reminder
There is no need to rush a keepsake. If you are buying for someone grieving, waiting a week or two until the first wave of messages has passed can make your gift feel even more thoughtful. If you are buying for a pet lover, any ordinary Tuesday is a good enough reason. Either way, a small thing chosen carefully tends to be kept for a long time.
